The Organ Media Foundation is a non-profit organization, and as such, receives all of our funding from listeners that wish to see us continue in our mission. We wish to focus on the music of the organ and not on asking our supporters for money, so each April, we take one month to actively appeal to our listeners for support in funding our budget. This method allows us to keep the interruptions of our broadcasts and solicitations of our supporters to a bare minimum.
Our expenses include stream hosting, web hosting and backup space, royalties and licensing, server and network hardware, library additions, and voiceover talent. Even our domain names cost us a few dollars each year. This year our estimated budget for 2013-2014 is $5980 due primarily to higher bandwidth needs than ever before. Your help will ensure that the Organ Media Foundation can continue to fund it's ongoing projects for another year. We have given several suggested donation amounts, however, you may choose to give any amount you wish. In addition, this year we are offering recurring monthly online donations. Listener numbers are based on averages from December 2012 and January 2013. One-time production costs of $35 are not included for each 10-second message. You may supply your own message, but the Organ Media Foundation reserves the right to refuse a message if it does not comply with our length or quality requirements. If you have specific organ recordings you would like to precede or follow your announcement within compliance of Copyright Royalty Board track and album repetition regulations, we can accommodate that for an extra 25% charge.
